| Always, always do research on the seller 1. look at their feedback. 2. look at what the feedback is for. were they buyers or sellers? If its all from buying, the feedback isnt as worthy. Make sure the seller just didnt buy one-hundred 10cent items just to build feedback. 3. look at the sellers join date (history) to ebay. 4. I usually only buy from sellers who have been a long time member, and who have 200+ positive feedbacks. I have made 80+ purchases from ebay and sold 30+ items (i know its not much compared to some on the forum) but I have been yet to get screwed. I generally save $100 bucks on big ticket items($1000+), and $20-50 on smaller items($200-500). With cars, its a slight gamble, but you can get some great deals.
